Standard Range of IGBT Stacks Medium Power

Standard range of IGBT stacks assemblies with IGBT power modules. Mostly, in these series we work with 34mm, 62mm and Econo-dual modules up to 1700V and with standard topologies for AC/DC and DC/DC power converters. Including all the necessary, drivers, sensors, etc.

IGBT Stacks Modular Concept

Designed three main blocks, rectifier block/DC-link/inverter to give an answer to the demand of this kind of power stack technologies. Any of these three blocks can be easily adapted to the application requirements. From this starting point, we can customize as per design in collaboration with our customers.

Customized Design of IGBT Stacks

We are able to deliver a complete power assembly, from designing to implementation, production and industrialization, meeting the required targets and providing a value added to any proposed design. Rectificadores Guasch along with our partners have a wide range of semiconductors, drivers, high efficiency cooling systems, bus-bars, snubbers, DC link capacitor banks MKP and electrolytic as well as the necessary mounting hardware to succeed on any power converter design.

MTM Modular Series covers the medium power range of IGBT stacks with a compact design, a half bridge topology and capacitor bank this series of IGBT assemblies part as a constructive solution which allows a high versatility to compose customized IGBT power equipment. By simply stacking half-bridge modules a great range of topologies can be implemented, as choppers, three-phase inverters, back-to-back converters, etc.

MTM 34mm Compact Series is a very compact desing of IGBT 2-level with neutral point capacitor bank power stacks in B6I and B8I topologies (other topologies under demand). This stack includes the IGBT modules, forced air heatsink, electrolytic capacitor bank and optoisolated drivers. Allows the implementation of converters, choppers, inverters for motor control, welding inverters, UPS or renewable energies, etc. This stack does not include the control’s logic, that is customer proprietary.

GPT-IGBT is a education stack for motor control and inverter applications, this stack can easily implement many different topologies using its B6U + CB + BRAKE + B6I + 1/2B2I layout. Standard range of IGBT stacks assemblies with high power IGBT modules as PrimePACK and Press-Pack modules. We offer the standard topologies for AC/DC and DC/DC power converters as B6I and B2I. Solid State Relay Firing Boards

Zero-cross, instantaneous and configurable firing boards, designed to support voltages from 25V until 1200V, all our serie triggers 2 thyristors in antiparallel (W1C), which allows to obtain great advantages in the connection of loads. Furthermore, every board has a state control LED indiction.

Its devices are modular, using two or three modules/cards, it is possible to make three-phase applications (W3.2C and W3C).

Features SSR Firing Boards:

It is intended to be used in applications where high reliability is needed. This card is configurable to trigger SCR’s with pulse trains synchronized with mains voltage, or in permanent mode. It can be configured to start at zero crossing or random phase.

Control signal can be a logic level referred to card reference (high input impedance) or floating optocoupled input (low input impedance). Built-in power supply is feed directly from the mains, either 230 VAC or 400 VAC, 50/60 Hz.

The main zero-crossing advantage is decrease the surge current through the load during the first conduction cycle and helps reduce the level of conducted emissions placed on the AC mains. That occurs because the switching of the relay from a non-conducting to a conducting state occurs when the AC mains voltage reaches the zero-crossing point of the sine-wave.

Nowadays the dissipation requirements in reduced spaces are growing, thanks to our technology you can improve thermal dissipation performance of your power equipment without compromising costs and dimensions.

These heatsinks are widely used in traction applications, windmills and high power supply designs. Available in two-side cooling with RG40080 series, even three-side cooling with our RG42080L and RG42120L range or just the standard one-side cooling at different heights with RG42080N and RG42120N.

We also offer customized designs for any requirement requested from our customers putting all our know-how and capabilities along with our high-efficiency heatsink innovative and versatile constructive technology.
