Power Electronics Capacitors & Accessories

Electrolytic

We dispose of a broad range of aluminium electrolytic capacitors from 50 VDC until 500 VDC, they can operate with temperatures between -40ºC to +85ªC and their capacitance is from 330 µF to 250000 µF with a tolerance ±20%. The useful life is estimated as 5000 hours at maximum rated temperature, ripple current and voltage. Capacitors are available in screw terminals in three mounting styles: AEST, AEST-D and AEST-AL.

IGBT Snubber

These capacitors are used in high voltage, high current and high pulse application such as: IGBT protection circuits, snubber networks, energy conversion and control in power electronics. These capacitors are manufactured with extended foil electrodes with metallised polypropylene dielectric internal series connection. We offer a capacitance range from 0.1 µF to 3.3 µF, with a rated voltage VDC from 1000 V up to 2000 V and a rated voltage from 480 VAC up to 700 VAC. The workingntemperature range for this series spans from -40ºC up to +85ºC.

Power Factor Correction

We distribute PFC capacitors specifically designed for power factor correction applications as fixed capacitance correction for motors, dynamic PFC compensation equipment, etc. Its inner construction and manufacture process provides a very low losses, long life and constant capacitance. This capacitors also have a dielectric self-healing characteristic and are equipped with an overpressure expansion fused which physically disconnects when an internal overpressure occurs avoiding catastrophic capacitors destruction. Furthermore, we have gas and oil capacitors depending of your requirements. The voltage range is from 230V until 690V and the rated power in kVAr to compensate could be customized.

DC-Link

We distribute a complete range of MKP capacitors especially designed to work as DC-Link, DC filters, industrial inverters, UPS, etc. Built in aluminium case and dry-resin filled. This capacitor series have a high RMS current rating with a very low self-inductance wich make them a great choice for work as a DC power bank. Radial fan combis

Combis made by radial fans + heatsink, with 2 main widths in 215 and 300 mm. Giving the highest efficiency of the heatsink used this combi range comes with radial fans from SEMICODE providing an IP44 fan. The included heatsink can be machined on-demand under specific drawing.

Combis with standard fan + high efficiency heatsinks

Taking our high efficiency heatsinks as a start point we offer a range of combis with standard fans. Our high efficiency combi series with 80 mm and 120 mm fans and a 40 mm series made with market’s standard extruded profiles.

Besides our standard low power IGBT power stacks we also can design and assemble, produce and industrialize any power converter proposed by our clients and partners. As example of this customized designs VSC and SRM converters has been implemented with SOT-227 (miniBLOC) modules allowing a great heat distribution and a very low profile converters using our extruded heatsinks combis with 40 mm fan system or, for greater power our high efficiency profiles.

E1, E2 and E3-Pack from our partner Ixys semiconductors offers a very versatile module integrating various topologies layouts (CBI, 6-pack…) in a pin-based module easy to assemble with PCB stack solutions. Very low profile with its 17 mm this modules gives a high reliability for the application whilst providing an optimal high power density and an excellent thermal conductivity.

Insulated Base Plate Power Modules Stacks for Power Electronics

MF Series

1~ and 3~ power stacks with power modules for AC control and rectifying. Standard types available, optimized and codified, natural or forced cooling, this series includes tested protection (thermal switch, ultrarapid fuses and RC network). This standard series can be delivered mainly from our stock.This serie also includes, optionally, a phase angle regulation firing board or a zero switching firing module.

Power resistors are the most used passive components in power electronics, we have the best technology in metal film resistors thanks to our partner EBG resistors.
