Semicode offers high-end power equipment. SC-PFC is a range of power factor cabinets designed to be very scalable and aimed to help to improve the quality of the grid whilst reducing the electrical bill. SC-ACR is a range of AC/AC ready-to-use converters capable of managing up to 250 kW.

Quick and easy commissioning

All the power equipment from Semicode is mainly characterized by its easy installation and use. The cabinets and all our equipment have been pre-configured and tested at the factory. The whole range of power equipment SC-PFC and SC-ACR also features a wide space for wiring the power and control connections which are designed to facilitate the equipment installation and its maintenance.

Embedded Controller

For SC-PFC series its controller is suitable for reactive power correction and the use of static contactors. It also offers the advantage of being able to add expansion modules to provide more services. For SC-ACR series the main controller is a SC6006 SCR regulation board which is highly configurable and customizable. For each case the integrated controller is set and tested in factory in order to provide to our clients a plug-and-play power converter.

The SC-PFC series consists of capacitor banks with static contactors (thyristors) and reactance. These equipments allow a quick reactive compensation and are very suitable for fast and/or dynamic loads (welding, CNC, elevators, air conditioning, offices, etc).

Furthermore, by incorporating reactors in series can compensate reactive power in networks with high harmonic content, where there is a risk of resonance, blocking the injection of harmonics to capacitor and avoiding risks of overcurrent and overvoltage by resonances. The connection and disconnection of capacitor banks is produced when the current crosses zero in each phase. In this way damaging spikes and transients for capacitors are avoided.

The range of 3-phase AC/AC converters SC-ACR is made from compact power stack design in W3C configuration with the regulation board SC6006. This equipment permits several modes of operation and almost any standard input signal level for power reference (Potentiometer, 0-5 V, 0-10 V and 4-20 mA).
Besides, the power stack inclues phase rotation protection, ultra fast fuses included, thermal protectin by means of internal thermal switch, LCD screen and LEDs for status and monitorization, external fault available through relay, etc.
